Edgard Nguesso and Catherine Ignanga are the latest round of relatives of Congolese President Denis Sassou Nguesso to be charged by the French justice system for “money laundering and misuse of public funds.”
In total, five of his family members have now been placed under investigation by French authorities for corruption charges.
